About us

Stichting Talent op Podium Orkest (T.O.P. Orkest; “Talent on Stage Orchestra”) was founded to accompany soloists in their first steps towards the top of the classical music profession. We perform solo concertos with instrumental and vocal soloists who are at the start of their career to give them the opportunity to perform with an orchestra. For many young musicians, this is an important but not easily realised ambition.

Soloists are either invited by us to perform with us, or they ask us to accompany them.
Our orchestra members can also perform as a soloist with us after spending some time in the orchestra.

We perform about two projects a year. The orchestra is composed separately for ever project. Our conductor varies. Dominic Seldis, first double bass player in the Concertgebouw Orchestra and well-known as a jury member in the Dutch television program Maestro, conducts our orchestra on a regular basis.
Contact us in case you're interested to perform with us in the orchestra or as a soloist! All instruments are welcome. On this website you can find information on what we do, our projects, recordings and pictures of the performances and contact information.

The extensive policy plan, financial accountability and statutes can be found under the menu heading policy.
